I always miss that time of month when it's acceptable to talk about your favourites, so I'm just going to admit defeat and throw my favourite products/things/people out there now. There's a mixture of stuff, and I love finding out what people having been enjoying recently so I hope you like having a little nosey.
MooGoo Full Milk Mosturiser // I was sent this by the lovely people at Moogoo, and at first I didn't get on with it - but that was when my skin was super dry and irritated, and now I couldn't love it more. I use it morning and night after toning, and it sinks in so nicely. It's a perfect base for make-up and it smells so sweet and yummy.
Lush baths // I recently used Avobath from Lush, which Sam recommended to me, and I didn't realise it was going to make my bath water shimmer like a pool full of fairy dust, and I felt like Tinkerbell. Plus my skin was sooooo soft when I emerged.
Rimmel Wonderfull mascara // I have the world's most short and stubby lashes, and I'm always on the hunt for a decent mascara. My mum was using this and I'd borrowed it a few times, so I bought my own and I love it. It's one of those that tends to work even better as it dries out, and it really makes my lashes look a million times better than they normally do!
Cheesecake // I make a mean Baileys cheesecake myself, but I love cheesecake of all kinds. Like there is never ever a bad time to eat cheesecake, is there?
Disney World vlogs and hauls // I've given up on all TV programs and films, and instead Sam & I have been watching vlogs of people at Disney World, and hauls of all their souvenirs. Can you tell we're excited to go next year? It's such a long way off, but AHZBISLS ASDODS CL OAFAOSFBAFSDF[ASDOFB ASDHFOFHANAKFSDUFHWE8RAPSD VKSDJHALSDALSDOAIFHKJF'FASO[IDFHASOD LASDNASDJASOPFJV
Yah sooo maybe I'll make this a thing that happens every so often when I've accumulated a list of things I love! I'm coming to the end of my second year of uni, so blog posts might a bit sparse while I get everything tied up - wish me luck... Also let me know what you've been loving lately!

Skinetica anti blemish toner // review
As you might know, a few weekends ago was the long-awaited #NWbloggersmeetup, and I'm slowly but surely making my way through the amazing goody bags. By fair one of my favourite products that I received was the Skinetica toner* - I'm a skincare addict!
I have eczema and acne, so finding something that works well for both of my skin issues is always a chore, but I think I might have found one. It's gentle, it gets rids of the last traces of grime and make up, and it has definitely improved the appearance of my skin. It does contain alcohol, but don't let that put of you off because it hasn't irritated my skin nor has it made it any drier than usual - in fact, my skin is probably the best it's been in ages, which is a shocker considering I am ridiculously stressed right now.
The toner has an artificial smell, but it's not horrific (I quite like it...) and I use it morning and night on a cotton pad, after taking my make up off in the evening, and before my moisturiser in the morning. I don't know how often you're supposed to use it, but this has been working out well for me. I had previously been using the suuuuper-strong anti blemish toner from Clinique, but it literally burnt my eyes and I think a lot of people know by now how bad it actually is.
My skin tone has evened out and I've seen a lot less blemishes since I started using Skinetica. If I wasn't on a student budget I would definitely be repurchasing it; however, it retails for £9.50 which gets you 70ml of product, and I got through that size bottle in around 10 days, so I know I can't afford to spend that much on a toner so often!
Sorry for a short and sweet blog post; it's deadline week and I'm up to my eyeballs in presentations and poetry. If you have any skincare recommendations please let me know! Also, sorry I'm a terrible blogger and could only manage to put selfies in this post. I have no time or lighting etc. But it's like literally Easter now. I can do this.

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleep Mask // Review
Such a wordy title... A few weeks ago I went along to a bloggers event at The Body Shop in Liverpool, which you may have seen my post about - click here if not! I had such a lovely time but it was hell for my bank balance, as I ended up buying a few products that I needed wanted. One of these was the Bouncy Sleep Mask from their Drops of Youth range.
I suffer from mega dry skin, and I'm always on the look out for anything that will soothe it. At first I thought this might be quite gimmicky, as it's the consistency of PVA glue and has some sort of memory foam technology. Ahhhh, science. But nevertheless I decided to give it a go, and we got a little bit of discount on the night so it seemed the perfect opportunity.
You apply the mask (which comes with tiny spoontula, which is a blend word I have just invented because it's a cross between a spoon and spatula) after the rest of your skincare routine, which for me is pretty lengthy. It's recommended that you put the mask on about 15 minutes before bed time, so it's not completely gross and sticky on your pillow. It is meant to feel quite tacky on the skin, which doesn't bother me at all!
Being pessimistic, I didn't expect much. Oh how wrong I was - the next day I woke up and was expecting my skin to feel tight, rough and dry as it usually does in the morning. But for the first time ever, it was SOFT. I'd never experienced that before, and immediately rang my mum claiming it was a miracle. It is, okay?
I went home from uni for a couple of days and, alas, forgot to take the mask with me. My skin reverted to it's red-raw self, and I kicked myself for not doing a thorough bag-check before I left the house. Luckily after a night of using it when I got back to uni, my skin was dreamy again. I still have a bit of redness on my cheeks and the usual acne on my chin, but my make up seems to be applying so much better and my skin isn't sore any more.
Honestly, I am so thrilled I found this product and I'd recommend it to anyone. If you've tried it, let me know what you thought!

Daily December #14 // The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter // Review
I know my last beauty post was a cleanser review, but in that post I mentioned I've been loving the Camomile Cleansing Butter from The Body Shop. I picked it up when I had a voucher from Glamour Magazine, and I'm so glad I finally did!
The first thought I had when I opened the Cleansing Butter was how amazing it smells - but not in an artificial way. It smells delicate and natural, which is something I love. It works in the same way as any other cleansing balm does: when rubbed into a dry face of make up, it dissolves what's on your skin, making it easy to wipe away with a warm damp flannel or muslin cloth.
For me, this actually works - unlike the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, the Camomile Cleansing Butter removes all of my make up in one go, which is so good for lazy people like me... I sometimes use it of a morning on my bare face too, if I'm feeling too sensitive for an exfoliator. It hasn't broken me out which is always a bonus, and at £12 it's a lot cheaper than other cleansing balms - and when is there not a discount code going around for The Body Shop?
I would whole heartedly recommend this product to ANYONE, it's fast become of the staples in my skincare routine and I think I'd be lost without it. I'm also hoping to try their cleansing oil too! As if we are two weeks into December now, this is craaaaazy.
Want to see the products I think are worth the hype? 'course you do
