I feel like I'm a bit useless at doing beauty posts because there's only so many things you can say about a blusher amiriteeee? I just don't have the knack for it, but I love make up and shit so I'm gonna do a beauty post anyway and tell you about all the bits and bobs I'm smearing on my face on a regular basis.
Skincare...
I have combination skin to the max; it's super dry but covered in spots. I seem to be keeping my blemishes under control recently though, and that's probably thanks to the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit facial scrub which I use on pretty much a daily basis. It smells so nice and does the trick of keeping my skin squeaky clean. What more could you want? I've also been reaching for the MooGoo Full Cream moisturiser* which isn't too thick or greasy and leaves my skin soooo soft. It's a perfect base for make-up which leads me nicely to...
Make-up...
My skin is rubbish at keeping anything on it so I always use a primer and being a poor student, I've been using the MUA Pro-Base primer, followed by the trusty ol' Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, which errrrrybody loves. At the minute I'm using Estee Lauder double wear foundation; the shade I have is a bit too dark for me because it was one my pretty lil' girlfriend was getting rid of but I love the coverage it gives.
I'm using Hoola from Benefit to contour etc with, not that I have any Kim K skills, and the Ambient Lighting palette for highlighting my nose and brow bone and such. Sometimes I use it as an all-over face powder if I want an extra glow because I can't be tamed and like to live life on the wild side. For blush, the wonderful people at MooGoo also have a make-up range called Dusty Girls, and they sent me a gorgeous blusher in the shade 'Pink Ladies'* which is so fetch.
Eye-wise, the Naked Palette from Urban Decay is pretty much where it's at, alongside the Wonderfull mascara from Rimmel which I mainly like because the packaging is sO SHINY. My eyebrows are currently tinted, but when they're not I just fill them in a bit with a Bobbi Brown eyeshadow in the shade Blonde on a fancy angled brush. My lipstick collection is solidly growing, but my latest love is Hot Gossip from Mac which was a present from my big bro. He's a gem sometimes.
There you have it, really. Things I slap on my face to make myself not resemble a toe so much.

Gimme all your lovin'
I always miss that time of month when it's acceptable to talk about your favourites, so I'm just going to admit defeat and throw my favourite products/things/people out there now. There's a mixture of stuff, and I love finding out what people having been enjoying recently so I hope you like having a little nosey.
MooGoo Full Milk Mosturiser // I was sent this by the lovely people at Moogoo, and at first I didn't get on with it - but that was when my skin was super dry and irritated, and now I couldn't love it more. I use it morning and night after toning, and it sinks in so nicely. It's a perfect base for make-up and it smells so sweet and yummy.
Lush baths // I recently used Avobath from Lush, which Sam recommended to me, and I didn't realise it was going to make my bath water shimmer like a pool full of fairy dust, and I felt like Tinkerbell. Plus my skin was sooooo soft when I emerged.
Rimmel Wonderfull mascara // I have the world's most short and stubby lashes, and I'm always on the hunt for a decent mascara. My mum was using this and I'd borrowed it a few times, so I bought my own and I love it. It's one of those that tends to work even better as it dries out, and it really makes my lashes look a million times better than they normally do!
Cheesecake // I make a mean Baileys cheesecake myself, but I love cheesecake of all kinds. Like there is never ever a bad time to eat cheesecake, is there?
Disney World vlogs and hauls // I've given up on all TV programs and films, and instead Sam & I have been watching vlogs of people at Disney World, and hauls of all their souvenirs. Can you tell we're excited to go next year? It's such a long way off, but AHZBISLS ASDODS CL OAFAOSFBAFSDF[ASDOFB ASDHFOFHANAKFSDUFHWE8RAPSD VKSDJHALSDALSDOAIFHKJF'FASO[IDFHASOD LASDNASDJASOPFJV
Yah sooo maybe I'll make this a thing that happens every so often when I've accumulated a list of things I love! I'm coming to the end of my second year of uni, so blog posts might a bit sparse while I get everything tied up - wish me luck... Also let me know what you've been loving lately!

Dusty Girls blusher // review
At the beginning of the year, I went to the #nyLDNmeet at a swanky venue in Soho; there was cocktails, selfies and a lot of popcorn. We also got the chance to speak a lovely up and coming brand, MooGoo - they specialise in skin care but they also have a make-up range: Dusty Girls. We got to sample some of their gorgeous products and also choose which ones we'd like to review. At this point, the ranges weren't available in the UK, so I waited eagerly for my chosen products to arrive.
I was so excited when the Dusty Girls Natural Mineral Blush in "Pink Ladies"* came through my door (or rather, when I went to the post office to pick it up...) I swatched it and immediately fell in love. It's soooo pigmented, and it's the perfect peachy-pink with a lovely amount of shimmer that isn't too noticeable on the skin; because let's face it, who wants to look like a glitter ball? Unless you're into that which is totally cool, obv.
The packaging is utterly adorable; it comes in a pink cardboard box, with an apple-related pun on it - I love a good pun - and the actual blusher itself is also in pink and white packaging with the dusty girls logo. It's sturdy and has that satisfying *click* noise when you close it, plus it's semi-clear on top which is just something I personally really like.
I've been using the blusher with my Real Techniques blusher brush and I've found it gives a really nice healthy glow; I'm soooo pale though I have to use the tiniest bit otherwise I look suspiciously clown-like, but this happens with most blushers...
Dusty Girls blusher retails for £15 and is available here. This was a PR sample sent to me for review purposes, but all opinions are my own.
