Skinetica anti blemish toner // review

As you might know, a few weekends ago was the long-awaited #NWbloggersmeetup, and I'm slowly but surely making my way through the amazing goody bags. By fair one of my favourite products that I received was the Skinetica toner* - I'm a skincare addict!

I have eczema and acne, so finding something that works well for both of my skin issues is always a chore, but I think I might have found one. It's gentle, it gets rids of the last traces of grime and make up, and it has definitely improved the appearance of my skin. It does contain alcohol, but don't let that put of you off because it hasn't irritated my skin nor has it made it any drier than usual - in fact, my skin is probably the best it's been in ages, which is a shocker considering I am ridiculously stressed right now.

The toner has an artificial smell, but it's not horrific (I quite like it...) and I use it morning and night on a cotton pad, after taking my make up off in the evening, and before my moisturiser in the morning. I don't know how often you're supposed to use it, but this has been working out well for me. I had previously been using the suuuuper-strong anti blemish toner from Clinique, but it literally burnt my eyes and I think a lot of people know by now how bad it actually is.

My skin tone has evened out and I've seen a lot less blemishes since I started using Skinetica. If I wasn't on a student budget I would definitely be repurchasing it; however, it retails for £9.50 which gets you 70ml of product, and I got through that size bottle in around 10 days, so I know I can't afford to spend that much on a toner so often!

Sorry for a short and sweet blog post; it's deadline week and I'm up to my eyeballs in presentations and poetry. If you have any skincare recommendations please let me know! Also, sorry I'm a terrible blogger and could only manage to put selfies in this post. I have no time or lighting etc. But it's like literally Easter now. I can do this.
