What's in my make up bag | Gdańsk 2019

When this post goes live I'll be in Gdańsk up to my eyeballs in pizza monster munch and orange Tymbark juice - and right now, as it sit in bed and write this up, I couldn't be more excited. I will be creating a lot of blog content when I get back (similar to the posts I wrote when I got back from Warsaw) but for now, here's everything that's in my make up bag for this trip!

My primer of the moment is the Hylamide HA Blur from Deciem; I got sent this a couple of years ago and loved it but it was so pricey, so I didn't repurchase. But since Deciem launched everybody's budget faves The Ordinary, they seem to have reduced some of the prices of their other products. It was £19 when I wrote this blog post about it, but it's only a tenner now so I've just bought a new one! What a dream. Anyway, it's the best primer ever and I couldn't not pack it. In terms of colour correcting, I've just packed the Urban Decay Naked Skin Colour Correcting Fluid in Peach* for under my eyes because I know I probably be knackered from all the exploring/drinking... My foundation is the Coverage Foundation by The Ordinary, which I'm loving - it lasts really well which is perfect for full days out, which I imagine we'll be doing most days.

For my face, I've actually packed the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette* which is recent re-discovery for me, and contains bronzer, blusher and highlighter. This is ideal for saving the space, and of course the make up itself is great quality and looks really nice on the skin. It also has some eyeshadows in, but I am also packing my Wet n Wild Comfort Zone Palette, because it's not too bulky but has a good range - I featured it in my top 3 eyeshadow palettes to travel with post, and it really is spot on for travelling with. I've also packed a couple of the Pixi Liquid Fairy Lights* shadows which are so easy to use and actually really versatile. For my brows I've just been filling them in with an angled brush and the bronzer shade from the Charlotte Tilbury palette followed by some tinted brow gel, which is really quick and easy. My mascara at the minute is Maybelline Lash Sensational which I don't love but I'm trying to use it up so that's that.

As always I've packed my trusty Gerard Cosmetics setting spray; I'm using the peach one currently and I'm so obsessed with it, I've actually got rid of most of my other setting sprays now because I never reach for them! Last but not least: lipsticks. My favourites currently are the Pixi MatteLast Liquid Lips* so I've packed a couple of these a couple of MAC bullet lipsticks and of course, my trusty Urban Decay Rehab Make Up Prep Lip Love* which is very out of stock but also one of the best lip balms in the world. I also want to say a shout out to the Olivia Hale make up sponge which is around £1.69 in Home Bargains and is identical in looks and performance to the Real Techniques sponge. Catch that saving.

And that's it - all the goodies in my make up bag for my trip to Gdańsk, Poland. Let me know what make up you can't travel without...
