Christmas gift ideas 2020

It's been a strange old year, hasn't it? I can't believe we're already in November - 2020 has flown by and dragged at the same time but Christmas is just around the corner. So with that in mind I wanted to share some gift ideas for your shopping lists. I usually do categorised gift guides but I thought this year I'd throw it all in together. Let me know if you end up buying any of these goodies for anyone! When online shopping, make sure you sign up to cashback sites (Quidco and Top Cashback) for freeeee money back in your pocket.

Items in this post were sent in PR for consideration alongside many others;
I've featured the ones I love most. For more info please see my disclaimer.

Wentworth Wooden Puzzles

My dad loves a jigsaw, and when Wentworth got in touch about their gorgeous wooden puzzles I thought they'd be great to feature in this guide. The designs are gorgeous and they're such good quality - plus some of the pieces are funny shapes (known as whimsies) to make it a bit harder. There are Christmas themed designs, arty ones and some National Trust designs too which generate donations. You can also get personalised jigsaws! Just a lovely company, and everything is well-packaged in sustainable packaging. Big love to these guys.

The Urban Botanist

If you're buying for a plant-lover, definitely check out the Urban Botanist. You can get pre-made terrariums and ecospheres, simple plants, living wall art, DIY ecospheres/terrariums and more! These make the perfect gift for people who have recently moved house or are decorating a new home office (thanks to covid) as they're so classy and a little bit different. You can order Christmas terrariums - and pay a small fee to have the decor inside replaced come January, making it the perfect year-round homeware item. All of their stuff is just gorgeous.

ASDA Photo

People bloody love personalised gifts, don't they? ASDA Photo offer a photo-printing service where you can get your pictures transferred to mugs, calendars, cushions, canvases and more. This is the perfect gift idea for family members you maybe haven't seen much this year, grandparents missing the little ones and friends across the country you haven't been able to visit. I got a calendar made for my office and I absolutely love it, plus the quality is great. And for my dad, I got a mug made with photos of him and our family. It's just gorgeous.

Sanctuary Spa

There are some beauty brands who just get it right with gift sets, and Sanctuary Spa are one of them. They now offer gift sets year round, but their Christmas ones are obviously really special. I got my hands on the Body Glow Duo gift set, which contains 50ml each of the Body Scrub and Wet Skin Moisture Miracle. Both are lovely products to have in your bathroom, and smell delicious. The gift set is £6 which is a bargain if you ask me, and perfect for secret santa...

Ginking

After this year I think we all need a drink, right? So of course, a nice bottle of something is going to make for an amazing Christmas present. Ginking offer four different wines, each infused with gin: there's a white, a rosé, an Italian and a Mediterranean. They're all frankly delicious and the bottles themselves are lovely - they look really high end, but it's only £14 a bottle or you can get a World Tour of Flavours Mixed Case (6 bottles) for £58. You can buy it at Morrisons, Ocado and a few other places!

Sock Shop

New socks for Christmas is a given, isn't it? Sock Shop do all sorts of funky socks and some really high quality ones, too. I got some Birkenstock boot socks (which are so thick and soft) as well as some gorgeous patterned ones from Lulu Guinness, Shared Earth and Hot Sox. With non-essential shops currently closed, ordering socks online is a winner for everyone!

Tropic

Tropic is one of my favourite skincare brands anyway, and every year they nail it with the gift sets. This year I got my hands on one of the Your Best Skin Baubles and a Joy Drum. My bauble is the CLEAR version: 18g of the Clear Skies cleansing powder (a little goes a long way), 5ml each of my two favourite serums, Super Greens and Pure Lagoon, 15ml of the Clear Skin mask and a bamboo cloth. All amazing products, and a great way to try them - each bauble is £28 and there are three options. As mentioned I also got a Joy Drum, and I went for 'Uplift Me'. This is £25 and you get 50ml each of the Lemon Myrtle body scrub and whipped body velvet (with a spatula), a Citrus cleansing body pebble, and a little pouch for it. Both gift sets are perfect for skincare lovers!!

Your Pleasure Toys

If you know me you know I'm not shy when it comes to talk about sex toys, and I recently tried out the Tracy's Dog Pecker Pulsating G Spot Vibrator. It's got 50 setting combinations, it's lilac and even has a loop handle for easy usage. Waterproof and rechargeable, it ticks all the boxes - and believe me when I say it's good. Currently on offer for £29.99 if you're looking to treat your partner or as a gift to yourself...

S Prints by Shauna

I'm a sucker for cute prints and my office has plenty, so when Shauna offered to send me some of hers I couldn't resist. She has loads - from quotes to drawings to big bold letters and so much more, as well as some festive ones, and I love the three she sent me. You can frame them or just stick them up as they are, and they're fantastic quality too. Her prints are £6 each which I think is a great price point, and they make for such lovely gifts.

Spirit Smith

You know what makes such a boujee gift? A nice hamper filled with treats. You can make your own of course, but why not have the hard work taken out of it and opt for a pre-made one that's just a little bit more special? I got my hands on the Personalised Aperol Spritz Premium Hamper, which retails for £65 and comes with a gold bottle of Bottega prosecco, a bottle of Aperol, some chocolate, nuts/popcorn, a drinks measure and fairy lights. It's presented to beautifully and it is perfect for sending straight to someone that you won't get to be with this festive season.

This is just a small selection of Christmas gift ideas if you're looking to buy some bits for your loved ones this year - and I have plenty of Etsy gift guides up on the blog too if you scroll through. Let me know if you order any of the goodies I've suggested!
