Seven Days Hotel, Prague

You may have seen on social media that I recently went to Prague. And while we were there, I had been invited to come and stay at a fancy hotel near the city centre - Seven Days, a boutique hotel. Of course I wouldn't turn that down, so thanks to the team for having us and without further ado, here's what I thought...

How well located is the Seven Days Hotel, Prague?

In terms of location, the hotel ticks a lot of boxes. It's just a few minutes walk from Wenceslas Square, the Prague National Museum and the Prague State Opera. These are all high on the "things to do in Prague" lists that float around the internet, so I'd say the location of the Seven Days Hotel is spot on. It doesn't take too long to walk to the astronomical clock and the old town square, either; it's about 15 minutes by foot, and the city is so pretty that walking round is always a joy!

Tip: the trams in Prague are amazing. You can buy a 3-day ticket from tobacco shops, the information centres or online to be delivered to your hotel. Definitely the best way to get from A to B in the city. 

What was the room like at the Seven Days Hotel, Prague?

I loved the warm red and soft white of the room; it had a bathroom with a toilet, small (tiny) shower and massive sink unit, then there was a big wardrobe and comfy bed in the main area. And I mean comfy. There was a little TV with YouTube and various channels, and room service was an option - not too expensive either, which was good to see. There was a little coffee making station, free toiletries in the bathroom (and a flannel for make up removal, you love to see it), and did I mention the bed was comfy? You even get branded slippers.

How was breakfast at the Seven Days Hotel?

We managed to get up for breakfast despite being a *little bit* tipsy the night before, and it was actually really good. A buffet breakfast with a big variety of cereals, pastries, cooked items, juices, coffee, toast... the hash browns were superb, and all the meat looked properly done and all that. The glasses at hotel breakfasts are always SO TINY though, aren't they?!

Other things to note about the hotel

When you get there, you can opt to forgo your daily cleaning service for however many nights in exchange for meals, spa treatments etc. This is part of the hotel's big to be more eco friendly, and it was something that I thought was FANTASTIC to see. Also, we had a drink in the bar bar and it was less than £4 for two pints which I thought was smashing for a central (and fancy) hotel. A room here will set you back around £180 per night, so it's pricey but for something special I would definitely recommend checking it out. Everything was clean, the staff were professional and lovely, and our stay was absolutely fab.
