You may know if you follow my social medias/know me in real life, but I recently had all my hair chopped off because let's face it, most of it was dead. Now it's short and a bit healthier but still kind of frizzy and dull, so when Fudge Professional offered to send me their Lumunizer Shampoo and Conditioner* to try, I took them up on it. Here's my thoughts...
Fudge Professional
They're pretty much a 'does what it says on the tin' kind of brand - haircare for stylists and professionals within the haircare world. But they've branched out a bit and you can buy their products on the likes of Beauty Bay now, so if you're wanting to put something more into your haircare then definitely have a look. There's a few different ranges available: whether you want to preserve your colour, give your hair some TLC or create some funky styles, you're probably going to find something that works for you.
Luminizer Shampoo
First of all, this shampoo is glittery. Yeah, lads, it's glittery shampoo. To be honest this is enough for me to want to give it a 10/10 but there are obviously some other good qualities. It smells really nice, giving off that salon scent (you know exactly what I'm on about) that you'd expect from a brand with 'professional' in their name. My hair shines in the light more, after I've used this, so it's definitely living up to the Luminizer name. It doesn't lather all that much, and I find myself needing quite a lot of it. But also, it's glittery. Overall verdict? 8/10
Luminizer Conditioner
Sadly the conditioner is not glittery, but has that lovely salon-esque smell and leaves my hair feeling sooooo soft. I definitely find my hair easier to manage and a bit less frizzy after I use this, if I leave it on for a while - if I wash it straight off, it doesn't work wonders so if you're after something super quick to use in a rush, this might not be the one for you. Again, my hair shines more since I've started using this duo, so that's a win. Overall verdict? 7/10
All in all, I really like the duo - they're pricey but if haircare is your thing and something you don't mind splurging on, AND you need a shampoo & conditioner for dull hair then definitely check these out.
