My 2018 beauty favourites

Happy new year angels - I thought I'd kick off with a round-up of all the beauty products I loved throughout 2018 and why. Get a cuppa or something, will you, because it's likely to be a long one. Let me know your 2018 beauty faves in the comments, too!

ARK Skin Protector Primer* - just feels dead nice. And makes your foundation look good - bit pricey but worth it. read more | buy
Oceanic AA Beauty Primer 360 Anti-Redness - reduces redness without leaving a weird green tinge. If you can get hold of it then definitely try it out. buy
Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer - truly covers a multitude of sins and it's cheap AF. buy
Technic Colour Fix Cream Corrector Palette* - good all-rounder if you've got problem skin that you want to cover. read more | buy
catrice 24h foundation - genuinely lasts well and looks so nice. My holy grail foundation. read more | buy
iT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Illumination* - all round beautiful foundation, makes my skin look banging. read more | buy
Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation - a really affordable, easy-to-use, good-coverage foundation. Absolute winner, have repurchased several times. 
Cover FX Custom Cover Drops - coverage beyond belief but can be mixed with moisturiser to look less heavy, available in discount beauty shops if you're lucky. buy
Colourpop bronzer (discontinued) - blends so well and is a really nice colour, plus it lasts on the skin.
Mac X Star Trek highlighter in Strange New Worlds - I use this as a blusher because it's actually pink. Sometimes I use it as eyeshadow too. So pigmented and pretty. 
Sleek highlighter quad - perfect for travel as there's 4 different shades, really pigmented and pretty. Good for the pale kids. buy
Pixie Glow-y Gossamer Duo in Delicate Dew* - like butter but really pretty. Looks utterly stunning I can't even. buy
Primark loose powder - had to buy this in Ghent because I was a sweaty mess. Sorted me right out from then on. Perfect for warm weather or oily skin!

Pixie Liquid Fairy Lights in all of the shades* - pure liquid shimmer that you can actually blend if you want. Lasts all night (or day). So sparkly. buy
NYX Single Eyeshadow in Butterscotch - I bought this on a whim in Latvia almost 2 years ago and have recently been using it as a base with gold eyeshadow on top. Pigmented & blendable, and cheap as chips. buy
I <3 Make Up brow gel (poss. discontinued) - so easy to do your brows in a rush and doesn't go crispy.
Essence Lash Princess Sculpted Volume Mascara - cheap as f*ck but the only mascara that genuinely lengthens my lashes. Thank u, next. buy
Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette* - so many reds and browns and oranges and obviously blends amazingly. buy
iT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Matte Luxe Transforming Palette* - they're matt eyeshadows but you can make them sparkly with the shimmer shade. Enough said. buy

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks in Lolita II and Ophelia* - long-lasting, not drying, huge range of shades. Shame she's a bit of a dick init. read more | buy
Primark 90p lipsticks - cheap enough that you're not bothered if you lose them but look so good.
Givenchy Le Rouge Lipstick in Beige Mousseline* - the most luxurious beautiful lipstick in the world and makes me feel like a princess. Looooove. buy
Bourjois Rouge Velvet Lipstick in Hey Nude - very buttery and long-lasting. Huge range of shades too if nude isn't your thing. buy

Tropic Super Green Nutrient Boost Oil* - great all-round serum for problem skin. 10/10 would very highly recommend. read more | buy
Tropic Pure Lagoon* - soooooo good for blemish prone skin. A new but very welcome addition to my skincare routine. read more | buy
Clarins moisturiser - a proper grown up and Very Good moisturiser for dry skin.
Pixi Glow Tonic* - an absolute classic, so good for taking care of your skin even if it's sensitive like mine. Just really really works. buy
nspa Pure Hydration Overnight Mask* - I use this just as a general moisturiser because my skin is so utterly dry. BUT it's amazing and leaves my skin feeling sooooo soft. buy
The Body Shop Warming Mineral Mask - this is mega nostalgic for me because my mum always had it when I was a kid but it's suuuuuch a good face mask & perfect for pampering. It's changed slightly and now contains ginger but I just got the new one so I'll do a review soon! buy

The Body Shop Moringa Exfoliating Cream Body Scrub - smells to die for, very good but not too harsh, perfect for pre-shaving. buy
The Body Shop Moringa Shower Gel - it's just a shower gel but it smells better than anything else in the world. buy
Bilou Shower Foam in Tasty Donut* - fun because it's a foam, smells incredible, leaves your skin feeling clean and nourished. buy
The Comforter by Lush - the best bubble bath in the world ever. Fact. buy

Tropic Nourishing Hair Cleanser* - smells gorgeous, cleans & conditions your hair, really eco-friendly. All round winner. read more | buy
Noughty To The Rescue hair mask* - sooooo thick and makes your hair feel amazing. buy
Schwarzkopf Gliss Shampoo Ultimate Colour - one of the only colour-protecting shampoos I actually like. And it's cheap AF. buy
Joico K-PAK Intense Hydrator* - banana-scented hair mask of dreams. read more 
Lush Snow Fairy shower gel - yes technically it is a shower gel but it also works really well as a shampoo and leaves your hair smelling fit for days.

Redken Diamond Oil* - smells utterly amazing and always makes my hair look less-shit. read more | buy
VO5 Frizz Free Cream* - one of the only things that gets rid of frizz when my hair is dry. Also smells proper nice. buy

  1. I bloody love Pixi Glow Tonic and Kat Von D liquid lipsticks - ultimate staples for me. Will be checking out some of your others this year hopefully, I need to experiment with new products more often x
