My summer jewellery picks

I'm not a massive jewellery wearer, and especially not in the winter but when summer rolls around I do like to add the occasional necklace to my look - so I decided to rifle through my jewellery collection and pick out the bits I'll be wearing most this summer.

Chunky necklaces are such a summer go-to for me; whether it be pendant-style ones like my Vivienne Westwood Orb necklace and this big chunky sunshine that I got on Etsy a few years ago, or big blingy/beaded/floral necklaces, I think they're brilliant to brighten up a plain outfit without having to think about it too much. This colourful beaded one is from Next, and I think the flowery one is probably from Primark but honestly, I can't remember - you can get this sort of thing everywhere, though!

I am the proud new owner of a beautiful Ted Baker 'Enchantment' watch* courtesy of the lovely folks over at First Class Watches - it's so elegant and pretty and really special, and the floral pattern makes it perfect for summer. It's also not really chunky, meaning it isn't uncomfortable to wear. First Class Watches have a huge range of watches from loads of different brands, from Casio to Bruno Söhnle and loads in between, all much cheaper than you'll find them on the high street.

I absolutely LOVE hoop earrings, and especially in the summer with a pretty dress - they give it a bit of an edge, and I got these five pairs for a quid (literally just one pound) in Primark. I like that there's all different sizes and colours and they also don't turn my ears green. Bigger the hoop, bigger the...

I also love to buy pieces from Skinnydip, ASOS, and Etsy! What jewellery do you reach for in the summer months?
