Frizz Ease by John Frieda

Recently, John Frieda got in touch to see if I wanted to try their Frizz Ease range - my hair hasn't been doing great recently, so I said yes and I've been using it for the past couple of weeks. Here's how I've been getting on. (Obviously, otherwise what would be the point in this blog post?)

I've been using the Forever Smooth shampoo & conditioner, and they both smell lovely; the shampoo lathers quite a bit, but not as much as I'd like it - the conditioner is SO thick I find it borderline impossible to wash out, and I'm always paranoid that it's left my hair greasy. It doesn't, but I always think it's going to - it does leave my hair really soft, though, so that's a bonus.

Does it make my hair less frizzy? I'd say it does, marginally - my hair is in no way a sleek and shiny dream after I use these, but there are definitely less fly-aways and bits sticking out everywhere if I brush my hair while it's still wet. If I brush it when it's dry, I may as well have just used a normal shampoo and conditioner - my hair ends up all fluffy and dry-looking, and has to be immediately shoved in a bun.

So, would I buy this? In all honesty, no I wouldn't - for £6.99 each, almost £14 for the duo, I don't think it's really worth it. It doesn't do enough to justify spending that much, when I know I can get a decent set of shampoo & conditioner for around the five quid mark.

Have you tried the frizz ease range - tell me!

  1. I've used the Frizz Ease set before and found that the Coconut Water by Superdrug is just as good if not better :) xx
