KickAstralWomen

I love a good empowerment campaign, and when the lovely ladies from Astral got in touch regarding their KickAstral campaign, I was thrilled to get involved. The campaign aims to empower women all across the UK, so obviously it was something I wanted to get on board with.

Astral cream has been around for over 60 years, which is amazing, and it's one of those head-to-toe versatile products that you can use as a moisturiser (its original suggested use) or as a make up remover like cold cream, or on your cuticles or as after-sun or pretty much anything else.

It's thick and smells nice (it has its own perfume, apparently), and contains lanolin and glycerin so it's probably not the best set of ingredients but somehow, it works and it leaves my face feeling soft and smooth. I've tried it as a make-up remover and it's pretty decent, and it's good at healing little scratches and those annoying bits of scabby skin around your nails.

I wanted to take this opportunity to talk about some women I love and admire; y'all know one of them is gonna be Sam, who is intelligent, kind, witty, caring and strong beyond belief. Another is my mum, who is utterly selfless, and another is one of my lecturers, Emma, who is crazy in the best way and also one of the cleverest and strong-willed people I've ever met, and has taught me so much in 2 years. Of course there are so many women I adore and am lucky to have in my life, and I'd be here forever if I listed them all but honestly, just look at who I natter to/about on Twitter and you'll have a good idea.

All in all, I've been loving Astral cream so far and I can see why people have been using it for 60 long years! Have you tried it?
