Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque // Review

Face masks are one of those things that as a kid, you reserve for girly sleepovers or Christmas Eve; nowadays I try to do one a week, depending on how my skin is looking. I've got a few different ones in my collection, and one is the Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque.

I prefer face masks that are in a tube, rather than a sachet, because there's no waste; I smother it over my face when it's damp, and leave it for 10 minutes (ish) like you do with most masks. Mostly I get distracted and end up leaving it on longer, but that doesn't seem to have any negative effects... When it's dry, you can massage it in with damp hands to exfoliate the skin, so it's sort of a 2 in 1.

It smells nice, doesn't irritate my skin and leaves it feeling soft and clean when I wash it off - but I don't think it does much. It tones down the redness a bit, making everything a little tiny bit less dull, but other than that I can't say I've seen any massive changes in my skin. It's something that's nice to use, don't get me wrong, but for the £38 price tag I don't think I'd recommend it!

What's your favourite face mask of the moment?
