They're soooo pigmented, but they're also really wearable - I had nothing to be worried about and I got loads of compliments. I used the dark purple shade all over my lid, then the pink-ish colour through my crease (omg don't I sound like a beauty guru) then blended it out with the lighter purple. Fancy blending. Blend blend blend. That's the key, so I'm told. I dabbed a bit of the silver in the corners of my eyes, you know, to brighten everything up a bit. Sassy.
I used a bit of Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion on my lids beforehand and I can't even tell you how well the eyeshadows lasted - it was so unexpected, and my eyes were still looking fab when I got home many cocktails later. I was so impressed and for the $5.99 price tag (I'm not sure if you can really get hold of them in the UK and they don't ship here *sad face* but there is a website called Sam's Beauty, and I'm pretty sure you can get them mega cheap on there) - anyway, for the price they're definitely a must have product if you can get your hands on them. I'm dying to try one of the Absolute New York Icon Palettes now!
Let's just NOT talk about how bad I
am at swatch photos, right?
Have you ever tried anything from Absolute New York? Let me know!
I'd never heard of Absolute New York actually but this looks interesting, I must keep an eye out for them in future :)
