Simple Skincare // Review

Simple Skincare has been a growing presence in social media lately due to their new collaboration with Zoella; I've used Simple for years due to having very sensitive skin, so I thought I'd review the two products I've been using the most in recent months.

Clear Skin Oil Balancing Exfoliating Wash // I bought this wash because of the 'oil balancing' claim - I suffer from both eczema and acne, so there's clearly a lack of balance going on somewhere! The exfoliation is gentle but you can still feel it, which makes me think it's actually doing something when I use. It smells nice and doesn't leave my skin feeling particularly dry or tight like some other facial washes do. A little goes a long way, and you can pick this up for around £2 in Savers; but if you don't have a Savers near you, it's often on 3 for 2 in Boots. I would definitely recommend this especially to those with sensitive skin.

Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser // With my skin being so problematic, I have to apply various creams that I've been prescribed by my doctor. These are all very rich which is why I prefer a light moisturiser to go on top. This one does the trick; whilst it's both hydrating and moisturising it's not too thick, nor does it leave my skin greasy or sticky. There's also no scent to it, which I like because that means there's nothing nasty or harmful in it, so it's perfect for those of us with more sensitive skin!

I hope these reviews were helpful! Let me know in the comments below if you have any other suggestions for cleansers, facial washes or moisturisers that are good for sensitive skin x
