My updated travel bucket list | 2025

This is the third iteration of my travel bucket list, so I thought we'd give it an update and see where I've been now I've ticked off 30 countries before 30, where I'm less eager to travel to now, and where else I've added to the list...

The existing bucket list(s)

Across my previous two bucket list travel posts, these are the places I had mentioned wanting to go - I've added a tick to the ones I've now been to...

Berlin, Germany ✅

Budapest, Hungary ✅

Mount Rushmore, South Dakota

Bruges, Belgium ✅

Teotihuacan, Mexico

Warsaw, Poland ✅

Stonehenge, England

Budapest, visited in 2024

Krishnapur, India

Pigeon Forge, Tennesse (for Dollywood)

Nowe Czarnowo, Poland (for the Crooked Forest)

Jeju Island, South Korea (to hike the Olle Trail)

Sofia, Bulgaria (so pretty)

Luxor, Egypt (aaaallll the history)

Toruล„, Poland (very gothic. But basically the whole of Poland is on my bucket list!)

Mount Rushmore is still really high on my list, but it's definitely a bit of a pipe dream - as is Pigeon Forge, but one day I do hope to do a bit of an American road trip!! Mexico is a bit lower down on my list these days, though again it would be an exciting one to tick off; when it comes to India, I honestly no longer have much desire to travel there given the constant news relating to brutal violence against female travellers.

Stonehenge - how have I not been there yet?! Still on my list and one I'm pretty sure I'll tick off in the next few years as we aim to continue exploring more of the UK. Jeju Island is another pipe dream but one I'd love to achieve, along with Luxor in Egypt. Toruล„ and Sofia are much easier achievements, and once we've got past our honeymoon (a BIG trip) we'll more than likely be focusing on multiple, short European city breaks. So fingers crossed for the next couple of years for these!

My 2025 (and beyond) travel bucket list

So, let's see the updated version (in no particular order)...

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Mount Rushmore, South Dakota

๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฝ Teotihuacan, Mexico

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Pigeon Forge, Tennesse

๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท Jeju Island, South Korea

๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฌ Luxor, Egypt

๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฌ Sofia, Bulgaria

๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑ Toruล„, Poland

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Banff, Canada (wow, the views!!!!)

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Verona, Italy (Juliet's balcony yes please)

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Lake Garda, Italy (again, the views!)

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Nashville, Tennessee (for the country music, of course)

๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ด The Norwegian Fjords (a cruise of course)

๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช Miltenberg, Germany (those fairytale streets...)

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ Stein am Rhein, Switzerland (so pretty and quaint)

๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑ Katy, Poland (for obvious reasons)

๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ Singapore (how stunning)

So that's my current, and honestly ever-changing travel bucket list. I am heading to Verona in June for my early 30th birthday treat, and we're planning a day trip to Lake Garda while we're there too. Next year will see us head off on our biggest trip yet, 3 weeks (hopefully) exploring Canada and ending in beautiful Banff.

Otherwise, we'll see how I get on with the rest of the places on my bucket list; we're hoping for a cruise in 2027, which will likely be around Italy and Croatia - it'll be my fiancรฉe's first ever cruise, and if she gets the bug then I'll be booking a Fjords cruise quicker than you can say Norway! After that, our next 'big' trip will be Asia, so we'll definitely fit Singapore in then. And the European city breaks will come thick and fast, as much as annual leave allows...

Where do you have on your travel bucket list, and have you been to any of these places? Let me know!
