My latest beauty empties | September 2021

I've been saving my empty beauty products for a post for ages, and they've really built up. I was getting sick of the sight of them which prompted me to finally stop being a lazy cow and write this post. So here we are!

Alberto Balsam Sunkissed Strawberry Shampoo

I double shampoo my hair now as I think I've mentioned in a previous empties post, come to think of it, so I always buy a 'cheap' shampoo for my first wash. This does the trick, smells delicious and costs about a quid in asda. Winner!

Alterna My Hair My Canvas 'Me Time' Everyday Shampoo*

I was sent this a while back and, given the price tag, knew it was second-shampoo vibes only. It smells like cola bottles, and left my hair feeling so clean but nourished at the same time. 10/10 would buy again (and probably will, despite then £26+ price...) Get it here.

Lee Stafford Poker Straight Shine Serum*

I've had this in my collection for years and I'm pretty sure Lee Stafford discontinued it for a while because you couldn't get it anywhere. But as I write this post it's on 3 for 2 at Boots, so that's wonderful. It's a gorgeous serum for use on wet or dry hair that never leaves your locks looking greasy, or weighs them down. I'm a huge fan. Get it here.

Sanex Dermo Extra Control Roll On Deodorant

I like this as my skin, especially my underarm skin, can be really sensitive and this is so gentle while doing the job at stopping you stinking. Plus it's obviously around £1 in Home Bargains and the like!

Collection Lasting Perfection Colour Corrector in Lilac

I had all of these at one point and this was the last one left - a lilac colour corrector is supposed to counteract yellow tones in your skin, which I don't really have. I was using it under my eyes and it was fine - the formula is the same as the concealer so obviously brilliant! Would defo buy the green one again, except they've all been discontinued. Nice.

Pixi Vitamin C Juice Cleanser*

This smells like oranges and gets your make up off really easily with a (reusable) cotton pad. Huge bottle which lasted ages and I would 100% purchase again. Absolutely brightens your skin as it cleans, too. Couldn't love this more! Get it here.

Pixi Vitamin C Tonic*

A companion to the above product, again really brightens the skin and felt like a lovely step in my skincare routine whenever I used it. Big big fan of the Pixi Vitamin C range, to be honest! Get it here

L'Oreal Pure Clay Blemish Rescue Mask

I've raved about this mask for years and how good it is at combating spots and redness. Keep an eye out in Home Bargs and Asda as it's usually discounted there... But, even at full price, it's a bargain of a face mask that lasts ages and will 100% help your oily/acne-prone skin. Get it here.

Ziaja GdanSkin Day and Night Creams

I bought both of these in Gdansk, and as with every Ziaja skincare product I've tried - loved them. The day cream has SPF in and they both actually smell like sun lotion. They're pretty much your bog standard moisturisers, to be fair, but really nice.

Perfecta 'Your Time is Green' Pudrowy Tonik

This is a powder tonic, so you have to shake it up, but all in all I found this to be so soothing on the skin. This was another Polish skincare purchase, and one I'd definitely pick up again when I go back next year!

Isana Young Egg White Peeling

This one was actually a German skincare buy (which shows how long I've had it...) - but this face scrub is made with egg white which is definitely a Korean skincare vibe. I really liked this especially when my skin was oily - it definitely mattifies and cleans your skin. A very good time.

Finally that's everything! Congrats if you made it to the end, let me know if you have tried any of these products and what you think...
