IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare | review

I absolutely love IT Cosmetics as a brand, and when I got my hands on their new IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare* I was so thrilled. I've been testing it for a while now, so I thought it was about time I wrote a review! Read on to find out my thoughts...

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare

With 40 shades available, this foundation offers a medium coverage with a really radiant finish. Infused with skincare such as hyaluronic acid and various vitamins, it's good for your skin as well as making you look smooth and glowy. It claims to be breathable and light while providing a decent amount of coverage as well as delivering the aforementioned skincare benefits - so how did I get on with the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare?

A bit about my skin

I've always had really dry, blemish-prone skin. However in the past year my skin has definitely flipped to the slightly oily side; I don't get as many blemishes, but I do still have a lot of redness and scarring on my cheeks. With that in mind, what is the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare like for combination skin?

My experience with the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare

I used as a primer as I always do - I'm currently using the Too Faced Hangover Primer, which I don't love but that's a story for another blog post. Anyway, I use that and then apply the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare with the brush they recommend: the Heavenly Luxe Flat Top Buffing Foundation Brush #6* also from IT Cosmetics. I usually use a sponge so this was really different for me, but I like the way it applies.

The foundation is SO glowy. I usually don't bother powdering, but I found myself needing to with this. I like the low amount of coverage it gives, and the fact they do a shade light enough for my pale skin - though I do think I would have appreciated this a lot more in my dry-skin days!

Would I recommend it?

If your skin is more on the dry side and you don't need too much coverage, I'd definitely recommend the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare, and the brush too. Neither are particularly cheap but IT Cosmetics are a great brand when it comes to make up and skincare, and this foundation is a great new addition to their range of fantastic products.

Have you tried this new foundation? Let me know your thoughts!
