Too Cool For School | skincare review

It's been a while since I did a skincare review, but I've been testing a few new products out recently - two of them from Too Cool For School, a K-beauty brand available at Boots and online at LookFantastic. Here's my thoughts on two of their cult products...

Too Cool For School Egg Cream Mask - Firming

I'm not really one for sheet masks in general - I find them to be a bit messy for my liking and this was no exception. There's a lot of product in the small packet, so when I took the mask out it kind of leaked a lot. That aside, it's folded up with some mesh (not sure why?) which you simply dispose of. You then place the mask on your face and leave it there for 10-20 minutes.

It's the perfect chance to sit and do nothing for fear of it falling off your face - although it was a really good fit and I did move around the room a bit without it sliding off. It smelt nice and clean without being overwhelming, and when I took it off and massaged the remaining product it felt lovely.

Would I recommend this? If you're a fan of sheet masks, then definitely - my skin felt smooth and firm after using it, which is what it claims to do. But if you're not already on the sheet mask bandwagon, then I'd give it a miss. It's £6 which is decent for a K-beauty sheet mask.

Too Cool For School Egg-Zyme Whipped Foam

I rarely use foaming cleansers, and this lathers A LOT - but I love it. My skin feels squeaky clean after using this (so go in with a good moisturiser afterwards!) and it has that lovely clean smell too. I don't use this for removing make up, so I can't really give you any pointers there, but as a morning cleanse or your second cleanse of an evening it's an absolute winner.

Because of the egg white in it, it really clear your pores and this is something I genuinely noticed with this product. My skin just looks brighter and cleaner when I've used this, and I'd highly recommend picking it up! At £18 it's fairly expensive for a cleanser but K-beauty never comes totally cheap.
