Willoughby Book Club | review

I love books, and I love surprises - so when the lovely folks over at Willoughby Book Club got in touch I was really intrigued to see what it was all about. Basically, Willoughby Book Club is a book subscription service that's suitable for all ages, and lovers of all kinds of books. There are 3, 6 and 12-month subscriptions, and you can answer a few short questions about what your interests and reading preferences are so they can tailor it to you!

There are so many different options to choose from; ranging from baby book club right through the ages until adulthood, where there are various genres such as contemporary, cooking and couples. A 3 month subscription starts at £30, which I don't think is bad at all for a surprise book coming through your door each month. Sure, you can buy books cheaper than that but this takes the thought process out of it and might encourage you to read something a bit different!

The book I received when they sent me an example box* was The Choice by Samantha King which is right up my street, so they chose really well. I mentioned the book itself in a recent reads post, so have a look there if you want a bit of a book review - I don't want to repeat myself, but I really enjoyed the book so it was a win for me.

Subscription boxes, as I often say when I review one, are a bit of a luxury - they're not something you need to be spending money on, for the most part, and they're often "more expensive" than if you went out and bought the thing yourself. But they're a bit of fun, and often include the element of surprise, and sometimes it's just nice to get a bit of post that isn't bills or junk mail!

Head to the Willoughby Book Club site to find out more info.
