High end products worth the price

I recently did a 'top 5 under £5', showcasing my favourite low-end make up; I wasn't sure what price point to pick when it came to high end beauty, so I decided to just pick 5 expensive make up items that I think are genuinely worh the price you'd pay for them.

First off - foundation. This is one of my favourite foundations ever and it's the By Terry Light Expert Click-Brush Foundation which is £48. I know that's hella expensive but honestly my face looks flawless when I wear this, and it blends so easily. Love love love this stuff. I have quite a pink toned one, and Sam has a different shade that's a lot more yellow - both actually look great on their own, and they mix together beautifully too.

For colour correcting, which comes before foundation but isn't quite as exciting to me, I love the Urban Decay NAKED Skin colour correcting fluids. I've tried the pink, green and peach ones and they're all incredible. I've blogged about them here, but they definitely deserve a mention in this post.

For bronzer, the MAC Bronzing Powder in Matte Bronze is my go-to if I'm going for high end make up. It's £23 which is on the cheaper end of the high-end scale, if that makes any sense, but it's still more than you'd pay in Superdrug. It's soft and buttery and a really nice shade that falls in between cool and warm - depending on which foundation I'm wearing, I can use it to contour or to warm up my skin. Dreamy.

A blusher that I love is the Rosie for Autograph cream blusher - this is actually only £14 but I do think that's pricey for a blusher, considering you can get decent ones for well under a fiver. It's gorgeous, though, from the packaging to the consistency to the colour. I find this lasts really well on the skin, too!

Last but not least is one of my favourite products ever: the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette. This retails for £49 but you get 3 eyeshadows, 2 blushers, a contour shade and a highlighter. I'm pretty sure I'll be taking this on holiday in the summer as it's so handy if you're tight for space. As always, the quality is spot on.

What high end make up would you recommend?
