Top 5 under £5

When it comes to beauty products, there are amazing things to be bought at both ends of the price spectrum - so today I wanted to jot down my favourite 5 products that you can buy for under a fiver. Beauty for every budget, right?

I featured the Primark stick foundation in my under £10 make up challenge video, and I stand by it - it takes a while to blend in, but it's just as good as more expensive stick foundations if you can find your shade. It lasts pretty well (even on my dry skin) and has a decent amount of coverage, so it's definitely worth checking out! Another Primark product is their lipsticks; this is a bright coral one, and isn't actually my favourite colour, but it's the product in general that I wanted to mention. I have one that's a purple-toned brown/nude which I love - the formula of the lipsticks is incredible. Creamy, long-lasting, opaque. Plus they're only around 80p so what more could you want?

Technic are a brand I've talked about a few times, and I really like their stuff - it's so affordable but really good quality, and this highlighter* is one I use regularly. We also gave one to everyone at #CarnLIVal, as well as donating the leftovers they'd sent us to some women's shelters and youth clubs alongside the sanitary products we're donating; everyone deserves to sparkle! Anyway, this stuff is pigmented AF and it's such a neutral colour (not too pink or yellow toned) that it suits a lot of skin tones. Lovely stuff.

When it comes to Wet n Wild, you can't get your hands on their stuff that easily in the U.K but there are some places you can pick it up, like Cheshire Oaks outlet village. In there, all the Wet n Wild stuff is £2 which is just??? They don't have loads, and I don't even know if they have my favourite, the product that prompted me to mention them in this post (the Color Icon eyeshadow collection in Comfort Zone) but I love it soooooo much. It's so pigmented, buttery, soft, long-lasting, gorgeous ... the list goes on! If you can get your hands on it, do.

Last but not least is something I only got recently, but I'm already loving - a velvet lip lacquer from MUA. In fact, I got a set of 5 but this is the only shade I've tried so far. It's a lot brighter than it looks, which is probably due to the frosted packaging, but it's so comfortable on the lips and fairly long lasting for a three quid liquid lipstick.

What are your favourite budget beauty buys?
