Tropic SUPER GREENS // Review

Tropic are a company I love working with; I've blogged about them a couple of times and they're just an all-round amazing group of people who make damn good skincare products. Their cleanser is one of my holy grail products and even their make-up is spot on.

So - with that in mind, I was absolutely buzzing to try their SUPER GREENS nutrient boost serum*. It's in a frosted glass bottle with a pipette, and you get 30ml of product - it retails for £42 which is pretty pricey, but a little goes a long way so I can see this product lasting for ages.

It's oily, as serums go, and while it does sink in a little bit - you can definitely feel it on your face. This doesn't bother me, and neither does the fact that the liquid itself is literally green; a dark forest green. It doesn't stain the skin which is definitely a positive. The smell is a bit off-putting, but definitely not enough to stop me from using it. It smells healthy (kale) and earthy (chlorophyll) with hints of coffee and avocado and all sorts.

When I use this I wake up with soft skin, less dryness, less redness. My face feels plump and healthy and it just looks a lot nicer - honestly, this stuff is a dream and if you can get past the smell, you'll absolutely love it.

Have you tried anything from Tropic?

  1. My mum is obsessed with Tropic, I tried the travel kit before christmas and loved the cleanser and Skin Revive moisturiser! I was sceptic at first because of how it's sold but the products are SO nice :)
