Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Colour // Swatches

So - Revlon. They're not a brand I've tried much from, but when they sent me a huge bag of goodies in the post last week I couldn't have been more excited to add some bits to my collection. First on the list of what I wanted to try were their liquid lipsticks - the Ultra HD Matte lip colours. There's 16 shades in total (on their website at least) and I have 5 of them. Away we go.

The 5 I have are, to be honest, pretty similar in colour. Aside from that, the formula is pretty decent - it doesn't go opaque with just one layer but with two, it looks lovely and stays put a fair while. They remind me a lot of the Nyx Soft Matte Lip Creams in terms of staying power, texture etc.

So, the colours I have: Flirtation, Obsession, Love, Passion and Addiction. Flirtation is a light pink/peach/coral shade, perfect for Spring and definitely a 'flirty' colour if there ever was one. Obsession is a lot brighter, a more cerise pink with blue undertones and it's so prettyyyy. Love is a lot more red (obv, given the name) and it's not my favourite, but I don't suit reds so go figure.

Passion is a berry colour, a real pinky-purple and one of those shades I love, especially this time of year. I can see myself wearing this one a lot! Last but not least is Addiction, a more 'true' purple than the previous shade, but still berry toned. These two are pretty similar, although this one is definitely a more Sam shade than it is me!

I'm dying to get my hands on some more of the range - there's a nude shade called Embrace which looks perfect for me, and Infatuation (a hella dark purple) looks stunning too.
