Currently testing // Skincare

I've never done this sort of post before, but I thought I'd let you know about the skincare I'm trying out at the moment, as well as my first impressions!

Alpha H Liquid Gold Skin Renewal Wash // I've had the original Liquid Gold for a year or so, and I've only used it a handful of times - I don't reach for it because I find it a little too strong for my sensitive skin, so I wasn't in any hurry to try the Skin Renewal Wash from the same line. But it came highly recommended, so I gave it a go; it's quite strong, if that makes any sort of sense - it stings a little bit but it's nowhere near as bad as the original serum. It leaves my face feeling so clean, but I've not noticed any improvement in my skin so far. I'll keep you posted, though.

Superdrug Optimum PhytoCellTec Day Cream* // This contains grape and it straight up smells like it - but, moving past that, I really like this. It's not too thick, but not so thin that you need loads of it. It sinks it pretty quickly and makes a good base for make up, and it contains SPF which is always a bonus (Caroline Hirons says so).

The Ordinary | Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%* // When this arrived through my door, I had no idea it was - truth be told, I still don't. It's thick, white, and sinks in almost too quickly. It's free from water and silicon, and you need the tiniest amount to cover the whole face. When rubbed in, it feels very matte, like a dry oil; I use a couple of drops at night, and smother on some moisturiser afterwards. I enjoy using it, but has it done much? Not so far, but it's only been a few days so I'll get back to you on that one.

The Ordinary | Buffet* // This is jam packed with acids and peptides and whatnot, and you're meant to use it morning and night - so I have been doing. If the other one feels like a dry oil rubbed in, this one basically is a dry oil - a bit thicker than that, but thinner than the other offering from The Ordinary. It's one of those products that feels luxurious - but again it's only been a few days, so I'll have to update ya.

What skincare are you testing at the moment? If you've got any recommendations I'd love to know!
