#NWmeet 2.0

Okay so I know this post is like a month late or whatever but hey, it's here now! All in all, #NWmeet was an amazing day - I've never been so stressed about anything, but I'd say it was worth it in the end.

I spent Friday night packing bags and boxes, and got to the venue bright and early on Saturday morning. With moral support from their gorgeous lovely wonderful manager, Connor, I set everything up and I was sat down doing my nails just before 12, when everybody started to arrive. Ameriesko is gorgeous, and I think everyone really liked the vibe.

Fentimans and TreeVitalise had sent over some drinks for everybody - Birch Water is the strangest thing I've ever tasted, but I kinda liked it! I had all the raffle prizes along the side for everyone to take a peek at; we had some amazing stuff from Dunelm, Nanshy, Balm Boutique and Pro:Voke to name a few. Thanks so much to everyone who donated prizes, and to everyone who bought a raffle ticket - we raised bang on £200 for MIND, in memory of one of my lovely friends. I'm so proud and pleased.

Everyone was chatting, taking selfies and Instagramming the gorgeous bouquet of flowers from Bloom & Wild (thanks, guys!) - then we had a talk from the lovely Sarra of Weleda, all about their Skin Food which is 90 years old this year. What a reign! It's gorgeous stuff, and Sarra was really energetic and informative.

I went round with the raffle tickets, and then I called it so all the winners could pick their prizes; I'm so jealous of Liv winning that Dunelm hamper, and of whoever won the Sloane Stationery notebooks! I think everybody who won was really happy with what they took home, so that was brilliant. Aisling and Hannah ran up to my little "stage" and presented me with a gift from everybody, and I cried. They'd even bought me a card with a bee on it - so thoughtful, and I couldn't be more grateful. You guyssss.

Next it was goody bag time - a great conversation starter, and I wanted to revel in everyone's joy. Seriously, it was damn hard work and I was so pleased to see that it paid off because everyone was buzzing with what was inside! A massive thank you to all the brands, especially Derma V10 (who gave us LOADS), Make Up Geek, Blistex, Yoshi, I Love..., Pretty Serious, Shiro Cosmetics, MOA and all the rest.

As the day drew to a close I was feeling happy; my hard work had been worth it and I had such a lovely day meeting new faces (Lydia, Bex, Sarah) and catching up with old friends (Liv, Jemma, Aisling, Hannah, Holly, Lauren, Rach) and it was just great.

Thanks to the brands and bloggers who made the day so amazing; thanks to Ameriesko for having us; thanks to my mum and dad for putting up with my tantrums. Big love.
