My holiday make up bag

I'm currently sunning myself in Cyprus, a much needed break from uni and life. I love seeing what beauty bits people have packed for their holiday, so I thought I'd share what I've brought with me this time around.

Primer is a staple for me, so I packed my fave - the W7 Prime Magic Camera Ready. I've been testing out loads of concealers, so I packed the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer* in shade 15 for blemishes, and the Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer* to go under my eyes. I have a whole post coming with a round up of all the concealers I've tried, but I do love these two. I knew I'd want my skin to be as glowy as possible, so I tried to keep that in mind while I was packing - so I chose the By Terry Light-Expert Illuminating Flawless Foundation Brush in Rosy Beige*. Long name aside, I love this; it's hella expensive and you get way less product than normal foundations, so I won't be repurchasing it but it looks so nice on the skin.

Hoola by Benefit is one of my favourite bronzers for contouring, because it's matte and doesn't look muddy or anything. I find myself only needing a tiny bit, too. For blusher, I've brought ELF's Peachy Keen because red skin + pink blusher = a big no no, I've been told. I love this blusher because it's reaaallly glowy and works well for pale skin tones, which I am even when I'm on holiday! Vichy's dermablend powder isn't my favourite, but it's less bulky than the one I usually use so I've brought it with me...

For eyeshadow, I've only brought my original Urban Decay Naked Palette because the packaging is less likely to break than any of my other palettes, and I love the colours soooo much. Keeping it simple for brows I've brought the Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in 'dark brown 1' because I'm a fiend for darker brows; to set them in place is my trusty W7 'the queen of brows' mascara, which I love. And of course, Benefit's Roller Lash. The one.

To highlight I've brought along the YSL Touche Éclat because I love it and it's small. And so pretty. My choice of setting spray to finish off the face - definitely a necessity in the heat - is from Make Up Revolution.

Last but not least - lipsticks. A girl needs options, right? My favourite duo of the moment is the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Kiss And Tell* and the Love Bite K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick*. They're just phenomenal. This Ted Baker coral lipgloss is one of my ultimate faves (see it here) as is the P.S Love... velvet matte lip crayon (NARS dupe alert). I also love the Rimmel Apocalips lip gloss/thing/whatever it is, because it stays on the lips for ages. And it's a bright, summery colour.

So there you have it, the make up I've brought to Cyprus with me, in case you wanted to know. I mean, you probably didn't...

  4. I always take loads of lip products when I go on holiday, I think once you have a tan it all looks a bit different so I prefer to have loads of choices! Love the naked palette too, definitely a good all rounder!
