Balance snake venom eye cream // review

In our gift bags from the #NWbloggersmeetup was something my mum snatched off me immediately - Snake Venom Eye Cream* from a brand called Balance, who I hadn't heard of before but you can actually find in the likes of Home Bargains for reaaaaalllly cheap.

The eye cream comes in a nifty little tube with a pointed tip, and contains Syn-Ake, which is for all intents and purposes, fake snake venom. That was a mouthful. It's a "neuropeptide that softens the look of wrinkles and helps reduce expression lines", according to the website.

My mum has been using it since the event and she LOVES it - just look at the difference...

I'm joking, obviously, but she has been using it every day and she wholeheartedly recommends it. Her eyes do look less tired and puffy, and her wrinkles (sorry mum) have definitely evened out! She hasn't had any reactions to it, and it doesn't make her eye area any more oily - she has oily skin, the polar opposite to me. Ps, how cute is lil' baby me in that photo?!
