L'Oreal Micellar Water // A Review

As I've mentioned in previous blog posts, I suffer from both acne and eczema - so skin care plays a massive part in my life. I'd always been wanting to try Bio Derma, but with it not being readily available in the UK I just never got round to it. So when L'Oreal released their Micellar Water and people said it was a dupe, I thought I'd give it a try.

the 3-in-1 product claims to remove make-up easily by dissolving it, as well as unclogging pores and soothing/toning the skin. So does it live up to what it says?

The Good // It removes quite a lot of my make-up, although not all of it - but it is great at getting rid of stubborn lipstick and eye make-up. It's not overly drying, and my skin definitely feels soothed after using it. I often use it just before I apply my daily face, so I know I'm putting make-up on the cleanest face possible. It doesn't sting my eyes or sensitive skin either!

The Bad // It doesn't remove all of my facial make-up, but I didn't really expect it to - so I get rid of what's left when I use my facial wash. A little of the Micellar Water does not go a long way; I've only had mine a couple of weeks and at first I was forgetting to use it regularly, so I'd say I've used it around ten times and I'm around 3/4 of the way through the bottle which is quite annoying. I find I get through a lot of cotton pads when I'm using this too!

So there are pros and cons to using the L'Oreal Micellar Water but seeing as it's a cheap and cheerful version of the Bio Derma, and it does the job, I'd definitely use it again!
