February Favourites

Two months in a row of writing favourites posts? New year, new me indeed. Anyway, here's what I loved throughout February - let me know in the comments what you were loving!

Lublin was obviously a massive favourite; it was cold and quiet but it was such a chilled out week and being on holiday is just the best. There's been a few blog posts up about it, so have a read if you haven't already! I'm counting down to the next holiday already, of course, but the Lublin memories are still going strong.

Beauty-wise, I've not really been loving anything new; I've been using the OGX Champagne Fizz shampoo which smells absolutely dreamy and is generally a really nice shampoo, and I'm testing out some skincare from Cuderm for an upcoming collaboration - I love it, but keep your eyes peeled for a full blog post in the next week or so! I'm still living for the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks, because since #CarnLIVal my collection has grown tenfold.

In terms of film and TV, I watched all of Broadchurch and bloody loved it - the storyline and cast are just great, and it's quite an easy watch while still being really interesting. I saw Black Panther in the cinema and was, of course, absolutely blown away; the costumes, the cast, the cinematography - all of them were spot on, and for someone who isn't really a Marvel fan, I'm amazed by how much I love it and can't stop thinking about it. I also binge-watched Everything Sucks on Netflix which is just beautiful from start to finish; I'd definitely recommend it if you haven't already.

Music has been huge for me this month; I've still had the soundtrack from The Greatest Showman on but I've been listening to Australian artist Courtney Barnett a lot, too. She's edgy and cool and political and her voice is really unique. She's touring in June and I'm just dying to go. On the topic of music, I'm starting a new series on my blog (hopefully next week, but we'll see) and it involves music that isn't quite mainstream, or hasn't really been discovered yet but is still, in my humble opinion, absolutely boss. If you have any recommendations of lesser-known bands or artists you think I'd love, please let me know!

What else? It's been a boring month for fashion, with all the cold weather - I've mostly been living in jumpers and sweatshirts with my big Pull & Bear coat on top. In terms of my blog, it's been quite a quiet month too; I've worked with Fentimans on a post that I loved writing, and I also featured the new Penguin Women Writers collection which is just dreamy.

And that's pretty much that, really. It's been a cold but lovely month, and thank god it went quicker than January did...
