Gosh! Free From // Review

Recently, Sam and I have been trying to eat less meat and dairy - we're hoping to go vegan eventually, but small steps are better than nothing right? Anyway, perusing Tesco led us to Gosh! Free From, which is completely vegan and also gluten free. Gosh! foods are free hthe nations top 14 allergens, apparently, so that's definitely good to know.

So what did we go for? The first things we tried were the Chickpea, Courgette & Moroccan Spiced Bakes topped with Harissa Peppers - boy are these spicy. They have such a kick so if you're into spicy food you'll love these. They're the texture of a typical veggie burger, and they are just bursting with flavour and goodness. You literally just have to whack them in the oven for a bit, too, so they're dead easy to make. You could have them on a bun for your very own burger, or chop into salad, or pair with Mexican rice from Lidl which was what we did.

We also tried out the Sweetcorn and Quinoa bites, which was actually my first foray into the world of quinoa - it's actually not that bad. These are much less spicy than the bakes, and are a bit like sweet falafel. We had these with pasta and all in all it was quite a bland meal (I forgot to add some salad etc) but it was really quick and easy to make, and I was in a rush!

We got Gosh! food on offer in Tesco, so keep your eyes peeled if you're after some healthy new bits and pieces to eat. I was genuinely shocked by how tasty these were, and I'll definitely be going back for more.
