Degustabox May 2017

It's that time of the month again where a huge box of food/drink turns up on my doorstep and I tell y'all what was in it and my thoughts. Away we go...

Starting with the sweet stuff this time - sour strawberry Millions (SO SOUR YOUR MOUTH WILL FALL OFF) and also chocolate-covered strawberry Millions which I haven't tried yet, because I'm so unsure about how it'll taste. There was also a giant Dairy Milk Peanut Caramel Crisp bar which Sam and my dad devoured - 7/10 from Sam because she wanted more peanut, and my dad's on holiday so I can't ask him what he thought but I'm pretty sure he enjoyed it! Also, sweet pineapple from Candy Kittens which are vegan and gluten-free, and I've been dying to try these for ages: the taste is so nice but the texture isn't my fave.

In terms of savoury stuff, there was some bread flour from Homepride which I'm hoping Sam will use to make us some bread, and some skinni wraps from Deli Kitchen which were plain but enjoyable, and are healthier than other wraps! There was some Hippeas, which we'd already tried and LOVE, and a new flavour of Portlebay Popcorn (we sent out some of this stuff in May's Curated Combination boxes) which I'm yet to try as spicy stuff does not go down well with me.

There was also breakfast stuff in the form of raspberry & coconut muesli from MOMA which I think will be going to the food bank, as nobody in our house likes muesli, and some Crunch Time nuggets which is basically granola on the go. Amazing.

Next up: drinks. Coffee in fancy triangular bags (?) from Bean Bags which my dad has taken with him on rhe aforementioned holiday, and a can of Zeo which is waiting in the fridge for when I fancy it - I can imagine this being really nice, though! There's alcohol too, in the form of Crabbie's alcoholic ginger beer which is a no from me but alcohol will always find a drinker in this house.

So that's this month's Degustabox - what would be your fave?
