Degustabox // March 2017

It's that time of the month again - probably my favourite day each month, save for July when my favourite day is my birthday. But you get my point, and what could be more exciting than opening the door to a huge box of surprise food and drinks? I knew that this month there was alcohol involved - but if you're buying a box for yourself, you can opt for a non-alcoholic version too! Anyway, enough waffling on, here's what's inside...

Let's get the boring cooking stuff out the way - although to be fair, this month it's not that boring. There's some Heinz Creamy Pepper Sauce, which will be much appreciated in our cupboard, and some Maldon Smoked Sea Salt which I can imagine will go down a treat with my mum and her giant box of various seasonings.

This month there was snacks galore: salt and vinegar crisps from Pipers which Sam says taste like chippy chips, and some weird Naturelly Jelly Juice which I'm sooooo intrigued to try. Is it jelly? Is it juice? Who knows. And not one but TWO bars of Dairy Milk Oreo chocolate - in the mint and peanut butter varieties, both of which are flavours I hate and Sam loves. Funny how things work out, eh?

In terms of the aforementioned alcohol, there were two cans of cider from Caple Rd and Pure Hopped - and I bloody love cider, so I can't wait to see what these are like. Other drinks included some boring Weetabix on-the-go stuff, which I won't be drinking but would definitely be handy if you like an extra 5 minutes in bed, and some dairy free chocolate mylk from Rebel Kitchen. I think it's so cool that you can get dairy free alternatives to that sort of thing, plus the packaging is cool.

Last but not least, the random bits - another drink, which is a lemon energy drink from Gusto Organic, and Cacao raw bar from Whitworths which looks way too healthy for my liking. There's also some gourmet jelly beans and some cheap chocolate eclairs. Interesting.

If you want £7 off your first box, you can use the code E8EVT.
