I tried out the Beauty Pie primer for the first time, which to be honest is nothing special - I'm struggling to think of anything to liken it to, but there's definitely some better primers out there! Next I went in with the green and peach colour correcting fluids from Urban Decay's Naked Skin range, followed by Vichy's Dermablend foundation which is actually one of my favourites. I finished off my base with the pink shade of UD's Naked Skin concealer under my eyes, down my nose and on my forehead and chin - which you might think is weird but it's so brightening and works well with the yellow tone of this foundation. So there.
Then I moved onto contouring, using a little NYX pan that I bought in Latvia (haul coming soon on my Youtube channel lol) followed by this Star Trek powder from MAC which is meant to be a highlighter but I'm so pale I have to use it for blusher. It looks cute though.
For my eyes, I finally got round to trying the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise eyeshadow pot in Cleopatra. I love these little pots, because the colours are SO pigmented and creamy and fairly easy to work with. So I just blended it across my entire lied with my finger, then used my highlighter - Make Up Revolution's Radiant Light: Exhale - through the crease to soften the edges and stuff. The I put a bit of the shimmery green/grey/blue shade from this Freedom palette (it's second in from the right on the middle row) on top and did a bit more blending.
Told you I'm crap at make up. Anyway, I used my Colourpop brow pot for my eyebrows and the L'Oreal Million Lashes mascara which is a current favourite. Then I used the above highlighter for it's intended purpose (cheekbones, nose, cupid's bow) and spritzed some Wet n Wild setting spray on, which is a bit meh but I'm trying to use it up.
My lipstick, which I totally forgot to photograph, was a nude lipstick from Make Up Revolution (one of those 1 quid ones) topped with a Zuii organic 'flora lip tint' which is a lip gloss but not a nasty or sticky one.
P.s I know the photos are crap but when you're rushing out for an impromptu date night, what can you really do about it?
