Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation // Review

I'm a huge fan of Charlotte Tilbury, and getting to work with the brand is a dream - so when the new Light Wonder foundation* arrived, I wanted to put it on there and then. But I wasn't going anywhere and I hate to waste make up for a day of sitting in the house, so I put it on display until my next shift at work a few days later.

Now, I've tried the original Wonderglow and I don't like it that much, so I didn't bother trying it with the Light Wonder foundation, but I might do one day. Instead I opted for the Murad Invisiblur Protecting Shield which works wonders for me. Get it? I whacked that on, did a bit of colour correcting, then starting buffing the foundation in with a Nanshy brush - I felt it might be a bit too sheer if I used a blending sponge.

The outcome? I love this foundation. It's a really good colour match, has the perfect amount of glow and lasts really well - I've since tried it with a Nivea primer, too, and it lasted just as well. Post on that coming soon. The foundation just looks so healthy, and makes me feel fab plus it hasn't broken me out/irritated my skin. I have pretty dry skin, so I don't know what it would be like if your skin is more oily but it's definitely worth a try if you can get a little sample from the counter.

I'd definitely recommend this - it's not as full coverage as other foundations but as we're moving into the summer months I can see myself getting a lot of us out of it!

What's your favourite summer foundation?
