What's in my make up bag | Mallorca 2019

As this post goes live I'm on my balcony in a little town on the outskirts of the island of Mallorca; I'm staying right on the coast in Costa de la Calma for 2 nights, then heading to Palma city centre for a day of exploring before catching a flight back to Manchester. As I'm not planing on doing much at all, I've not packed a lot of make up - but I did want some with me, in case I do decided to venture out for  tea instead of eating crisps on the balcony, and for when I'm out and about in Palma for the day because there's loads of stunning photo opportunities. So without any more rambling, here's what's in my make up bag for this short trip to Mallorca...

Face

I can't put make up on without primer, and I've mostly been reaching for the Oceanic AA Beauty Primer (anti-redness) which I bought in Poland ages ago; it's pale green and genuinely does make my skin appear less red as well as helping my make up last all day, which I'll want for a full day of city exploration. In terms of foundation, I'm currently testing out the Revolution Beauty Conceal & Define Foundation, because I love the concealer and I've heard good things. Blog post coming soon, probably. I've packed the matching concealer with me, which I already know & love, and the Luna by Luna translucent powder which I got in a recent Glossybox. I don't really use powder that much but if it's hot in Mallorca I'll probably get a bit shiny, so better to be safe than sorry...

Flatlay of make up spilling out of a make up bag

For bronzer/contour I've packed the MAC Matte Bronze, which I'm hitting pan on and do quite like, but probably won't repurchase because there's better ones out there. I've got one of my favourite blushers with me, the Rosie H-W for M&S cream blusher* in Camisole Blush which is utterly beautiful and feels a lot more summery than a sparkly powder. My current go-to highlighter is one of the new-ish Primark ones called Brunch Club, which is lovely, and everything will be finished off with a wee spritz of the Gerard Cosmetics setting spray, particularly the peach scented one.

Eyes

Going quite simple with the eyes because I'm on a solo trip and also didn't want to pack loads of shit - I've brought the Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow quad in Uptown Girl*, which is adorable and also small. My mascara is the Maybelline Lash Sensational, the waterproof one; I don't plan on doing any swimming, although there is a pool where I'm staying and I'm right by the sea, but if it's sunny my eyes will probably water. And for brows I'm using the Bang Beauty Brow Cream, another Glossybox discovery that I don't love but it does the trick!

Lips

Again, saving space and not wanting to go overboard I've just packed the MAC amplified creme lipstick in Brick-O-La which is kind of juicy rather than matte and therefore, you guessed it, perfect for sunny Mallorca.

And that's it, everything that's in my make up bag for a quick little trip to Mallorca. What are your must have make up products for a mini break?
