New in beauty haul

Christmas and January are definitely the time for new beauty products - I always get gifted some bits, and spend some money in the sales, and I also got some PR bits through just before Christmas too. So with all the new products added to my stash, I thought I'd do a bit of a new-in haul. Let me know in the comments what new beauty bits you've got your hands on!

My mum got me some products from The Body Shop; a Moringa Shower Gel, of course, because it's my absolute fave - and two skincare products. One is the Camomile Cleansing Butter, reviewed here in the very early days of my blog and still one of my favourite cleansers, and the other is the revamped Mineral & Ginger warming clay mask which never used to contain ginger at all but is hopefully as good as ever. Will update.

Just before Christmas, I got some goodies sent over from a brand called Daytox who I've never tried before - I love the aesthetics of the products, and on first impressions they all seem really nice. I've got their Cleansing Foam, Facial Oil, Firming Day Cream and Eye Wonder. Daytox products are a 'daily detox' and over time protect your cells from free radicals. Presumably not the political activist kind. But do expect full reviews of these products over the next month or so when I've given them a proper test!

I also - of course - received loads of Lush products for Christmas; my mum got me the Snow Fairy shower gel and the gorgeous Snow Fairy jelly bomb, as well as the Candy Cane bubble bar which I'm sooooo excited to use and the Sakura bath bomb, which I've never had before. My boyfriend got me the Goddess bath bomb and the World's Smallest Disco bath bomb, both of which I've not used before, and also The Comforter bubble bar which is my actual favourite product of theirs. I may have also ordered another Snow Fairy shower gel, a Luxury Lush Pud and a Golden Wonder - because they were 50% off so who could resist?!

Pixi, the ultimate babes, were kind enough to send over their new face products: the PixiGlow Cakes. They're a sort of all-in-one ombré cheek product that incorporates bronzer/blusher/highlight and come in two variations. GildedBare-Glow is a bit more subtle and muted, whereas PinkChampagne-Glow is a bit brighter. Both are pigmented and blend really nicely and look fab. Pixi also treated me to a new mega-sized bottle of their coveted Glow Tonic, personalised with my name. Their PR team is the best ever.

I received some PR from a brand I'd not heard of before called Shavata, who make an eyebrow pen that only works on your brow hairs and not your skin, which is fascinating and means you can't accidentally draw your brows too long or too far out. It only comes in two shades, and I find it takes me quite a while to fill my brows in as they're quite sparse in places but if you're blessed with quite full brows but want to darken them, this could be the one for you!

Last but not least, I made an order on BeautyBay to stock up on my favourite setting spray - the Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day Setting Spray in the peach scent which is just phenomenal - and a new highlighter brush from Zoeva. I opted for their Rose Golden Vol.2 105 Luxe Highlight Brush and so far, I bloody love it.

Keep your eyes peeled for reviews of some of these products over the next month or so!
