Novotel Liverpool

Last week, I was lucky enough to receive an email asking me if I wanted to go & stay at the Novotel on Hanover Street in Liverpool to review it - of course, I jumped at the chance and arranged to stay on Sunday night. Upon arrival we found out we'd been upgraded to an executive suite, so we practically dived into the lift to go up and see it.

The room was HUGE - wardrobe and a sort-of kitchenette (kettle, cups, coffee machine, fridge with complimentary water etc) to the right as we walked in, then a toilet and a massive bathroom with a bath, amazing sink area, and walk in shower with two heads. Amazing. There were two chairs and a little table, a TV on the wall that you could pull out to be on an angle, and a desk & chair with a lamp, hairdryer, phone etc. And the bed - oh my god, the bed. A king size bed with the comfiest mattress ever and SMART PILLOWS and soft white bedding.

We had an amazing view from our room, too, which was so lovely to see. I slept amazingly, and the shower was really nice (even if the bathroom did have that typical hotel-bathroom smell the next morning. Why?!) and we even got breakfast delivered to our room in the morning - bran flakes, toast, croissants and juice.

Our stay was absolutely perfect - all of the staff we met or spoke to were so lovely, and couldn't do enough to make sure we had what we needed. The room itself was lush, and we had such a wonderful evening/night/morning. We left very happy and we can't wait to go back! I snapchatted the whole thing, so make sure you're following me on there (katygilroy1) for the next jaunt.
