Sample Stash // March 2017

Most of my samples this month are annoying little sachets, but I'm overrun with them so I've just gotta start making my way through them. Here we gooooooo.

Murad Hydro-Dynamic Quenching Essence* // I had a facial at Murad and loved it, and came home with a ton of sample including this one - it's a target/repair product, and I've been using it in place of a serum. It's absolutely lush and, although Murad is pricey, their stuff is well worth it. 9/10

Circ Cell Geothermal Clay Cleanser // This smells like mint and leaves and grass and I hate it, it made my skin feel really dry and it didn't even make it feel clean in the process. Plus it's expensive. Absolutely not. 0/10

L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Masque // You may have seen my review of the shampoo & conditioner from this range, and I was excited to try the mask which is actually a pre-shampoo treatment. I wasn't expecting it to be as clay-like as it is, but that's fine, and it's blue with weird red bits (??) but it really does the trick when it comes to getting rid of oils so if you've got greasy hair I would absolutely recommend this. If only it had been around when I was thirteen. 9/10

Ziaja Natural Argan Oil Protective Body Butter // You'll be sick of hearing about Ziaja soon, especially if you saw the massive haul video I did of what we bought in Poland. But this is such a thick body butter that sinks in almost instantly and smells amazing, so you can forgive me. It did sting a bit on my eczema patches, but on the rest of my skin it was a-okay! 8/10

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Mascara* // I've tried CT's other mascara before, and I really didn't like it, so I was intrigued when it came to this one. However, I completely forgot until yesterday, by which time I'd already done my make up, so Sam tried it instead and we decided it's really quite crap and does nothing for her lashes except make them look shorter?! No thanks. 1/10

L'Oreal iNoacolor Care Protective Cream Shampoo // This is, technically, meant for people who've used the L'Oreal iNoacolor dye but my hair is colour treated, so I thought I'd give it a go anyway. It was okay, nothing great, nothing awful. Smelt nice, lathered an okay amount. A bit meh but not the worst shampoo ever! 5/10

SBC Rose & Argan Oil Skincare Gel* // I've tried some skincare gels from SBC more, and loved them, so I was mega excited to try this one. Now I'm not really a fan of rose-scented things, so I wouldn't buy this one but it felt lovely on the skin and was really moisturising. I love SBC as a brand so definitely check 'em out. 8/10

Manuka Doctor apiclear Skin Treatment Serum* // This was very wet, as serums go, and a bit sting-y but it did quite a good job at settling down some spots I had on the horizon. 7/10

Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Eye Treatment // This is like a serum in texture, and it's so soothing and cooling on the skin. It left my eye area feeling so soft and plump, which was really nice.  It didn't sting my eyes like some eye creams do, either. 8/10

AA Skincare Peppermint & Ginger Uplifting Liquid Soap* // Terrible. Barely lathers and smells like a full on spice rack. Not uplifting at all and actually made me feel quite angry. 0/10

Have you tried any amazing mini skincare samples lately?
