Hairapeutix // review

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with my hair, in that some days I love and some days I could shave it all off. That being said, I love trying out haircare products and when I received some goodies from Hairapeutix, I couldn't wait to try them out.

Now, Hairapeutix pre-shampoo treatment* is actually designed for hair extensions. I haven't had hair extensions since I was about 17 (although recently I've thought about it) but the great thing is, you can use it on your own hair, too. It's vegan and cruelty free, and 2 sachets of the mask will set you back six quid which isn't too bad.

Inside it's like a thick gloopy oil, and it smells pretty nice. I needed a full sachet on my shoulder-length hair, and I left it on for around 15 minutes before rinsing it off - followed by my usual shampoo/conditioning routine. It was easy to get out and left my hair feeling soft; not particularly shiny, but definitely soft and easy to run a brush through.

Do I think it's worth 3 quid a mask? In all honesty, yes I do - it's not something you'd be doing every day, so it's not too much to spend in my opinion, and it does work. I only wish I'd had it when I was trying to sort out my ratty hair extensions for my year 11 prom...
