Skincare Haul

Oh I love a bit of new skincare, and the past couple of weeks have seen a fair bit of landing on my doorstep - so here's what I'll be testing out in the weeks to come...

I finally got my hands on the Garnier Micellar Gel Wash - this stuff has been highly anticipated, at least it has been by me - I'm not a massive fan of using micellar water as it just doesn't get all my make up off and I find it quite irritable, so I wanted to see if a gel wash with the same technology would do the trick. Definitely a full review of this stuff coming soon! I have both versions of this - the pink one from Sam's mum, and the green one came as PR, so I'm interested to see how they compare.

I also picked up another gel wash from Garnier - their Ultracleansing Charcoal Gel, which I got when we were in Riga earlier this month. I'm STILL yet to try this bad boy out (I keep forgetting) but I'm so intrigued as I love charcoal-based products.

Paula's Choice sent me over some skincare bits*, specifically from their calm range to help with my eczema: a cleanser, a 'lotion exfoliant' (toner, I reckon) and a moisturiser. I love the packaging and I've heard nothing but good things about Paula's Choice, so I'm eager to get testing these!

I've had some Amphora Aromatica 'AA Skincare' bits lying in my new-in box for ages - and being the dope I am, I keep bypassing them but this Frankincense & Rose Moisturising Face Cream* smells amazing, so I'll be trying it ASAP. In fact, you can follow me on Snapchat (katygilroy1) and I'll test it out tonight (Tuesday) so you can see what I think!

Murad are a brand I love - I had a facial at their Liverpool counter, and this was one of my favourite products so I'm buzzing to have a full size in my life. It also works as a primer, so you can bet it'll be in a blog post soon. I may have already featured the sample size in a get ready with me video...

Last but not least, I've got some facial oil from a lovely Etsy company: Ziyanda Beauty. They sent me their Kalahari Melon & Marula Facial Oil* which smells amazing - so fresh and natural - and I can't wait to see what it does for my skin. They do a whole range of skincare in so many different scents, so definitely check them out.
