Smile Makers' The Surfer // Review

I've worked with Smile Makers before, and it was one of my most popular posts - so when they sent me their latest release, The Surfer, I was so excited to talk about it. 2017 needs to be the year of loving ourselves, of pleasuring ourselves, of getting to know our bodies and our needs. The world is a mess but we can still enjoy life, in whatever little ways we can.

So - The Surfer. He's orange, he's powerful and he's smooth. He's quiet (SO quiet) and he has that matte silicone texture that I love, and he's under twenty quid in the UK at the moment so he won't break the bank. He's not really designed to fit inside you, so he's mostly for clitoral stimulation but who doesn't love a bit of that am I right? He has three speeds and one pulsation mode, and he only needs one AAA battery.

He's 100% waterproof, so you can make showers or baths a bit more exciting, and he's got no phtalates in, whatever they might be, so he's nice and safe. Plus that one battery lasts around four hours so the fun doesn't have to stop.

What I love about Smile Makers, other than their pastel aesthetic and the cute smiley face on the button of each vibrator, is that they're readily available in Boots - it takes away the stigma, the taboo, the 'naughty' feeling that can sometimes be attached to buying sex toys and I, for one, think that's brilliant and something we need a lot more of. You can also buy them online at Beauty Bay, Look Fantastic, Cult Beauty and more!

Have you tried anything from Smile Makers?

  1. Love this! I've read a lot about Smile Makers lately but I didn't realise they were sold in Superdrug. So tired of having to be in that "secluded" part of Ann Summers, like we're hiding?! Nothing to be ashamed of! I love a vibrating friend!

  2. Is it weird that the first thing I thought when I saw this was 'awh, cute' haha. It must be the smiley face!
