My top 5 on Netflix

I'll be honest - I don't think I utilise my Netflix account as much as I could, because more often than not I get sucked into make up collection videos on YouTube instead. But having said that, I've watched some pretty decent things on the 'Flix lately: so here's my top 5.

A Series of Unfortunate Events // This has been SO highly anticipated for Sam and I - we've been waiting for it to come out ever since it was announced and we weren't disappointed. Neil Patrick Harris is incredible as Count Olaf, and the rest of the casting is just as good - and so are the sets, and the costumes, and the screenplay itself. 10/10 would recommend if you've not watched it yet.

Stranger Things // You knew this was gonna be in here, right? If you've not watched this then like ???? Okay ?? But it's just SO good and MBB is such an incredible little actress, and I am so attracted to Nancy, and obviously I bloody love Winona Ryder. I CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON 2.

Don't Trust the B- in Apartment 23 // I watch this when I want something that I don't have to concentrate on, and it's just so funny. It's easy watching with an actually-good story line and it's one of those that really cheers me up when I need it.

Madeline // This film is such a classic - it's one I watched over and over as a kid and I just can't get bored of it. I love the beautiful storyline, the lovely French setting and the witty humour of the little girls. Watching it back as an adult is just as good as all the times I watched it when I was little.

Black Mirror // I'm only on season 2 but I really like Black Mirror - there are some episodes I like more than others but the very first one was incredible, and the dead-guy-robot-thing episode was brilliant too. It's so interesting to watch things like this that are a social commentary of the life we're actually living, with surrealism thrown in.

What have you been watching on Netflix lately?
