January Sample Stash

It's been a hell of a while since I've actually done a sample stash post - but my box of sachets, tiny tubes and weird pots with no labels on is getting WAY out of hand, so the posts are back with a bang. I'm aiming for one a month with around 10 samples in each; a mixture of skincare, haircare and make-up. Please let me know if you want them more often, or with more/less products in each one!

Oribe Masque for Beautiful Colour // I recently stripped my hair to a really nice ginger-y colour which I'm luuuuuvin', and so I want to keep it looking how it is now. This mask smells AMAZING and definitely left my hair feeling silky soft. Definitely a more high-end hair product but if you want to treat yourself or a loved one, this would be perfect. 9/10

Youngblood Mineral Primer* // This looks and feels really wet when it comes out, but quickly sinks in with that typical silicone primer feel. You need a fair bit of it and I don't personally think it does much in the way of making my make-up last a long time; to be fair, my make-up didn't even look that good, definitely not as good as when I use the Hylamide HA Blur for example. 5/10

Ziaja Phyto Aktiv Day Cream // Y'all know I adore Ziaja, and this day cream is lovely; it's not the most moisturising, but if your skin is combination or just "normal" for want of a better word (not oily OR dry) then it could definitely be one for you. It's got that typical face cream smell which isn't unpleasant, and it sinks in fast without being tacky and it doesn't sting my sensitive patches. 8/10

iS Clinical Youth Eye Complex* // I found this to be really sticky for an eye cream, but it doesn't have an offensive smell and it feels really cooling, without stinging or anything. I don't really know if it made a massive difference to my eyes, but it was nice to use - however, it's eighty quid. You could get return flights somewhere for that! 6/10

Giorgio Armani Lip Magnet, 'four hundred for all'* // I got this teeny tiny sample when Sam and I went for breakfast at the Armani counter in Chester; I also got a full size in a gorgeous pink shade, but this is the red that's meant to suit absolutely everybody and to be fair, I think this does suit me. The formula isn't the best I've ever tried but it dries down nicely and lasts a good while, so I'm pretty pleased with it. 8/10

Vichy Idealia Life Serum // This smells incredible, like most Vichy products, and it's white and glowy; it sinks in so nicely, it's cooling and it leaves my skin feeling plump and refreshed. It retails for around £30 which is pretty expensive for a serum, but I'd say this one works! 9/10

Hairy Jayne Nourishing Shampoo // Another product that smells amazing; I love Hairy Jayne products, and this is a really lovely shampoo - it left my hair feeling clean without drying it out, and it felt soft and shiny to boot. 8/10

The Body Shop Oils of Life Sleeping Cream // I have loved The Body Shop foreveeeerrrr; their Oils of Life range is truly gorgeous and this cream is 100% no exception. It smells incredible and really nourishes and soothes the skin, brightening it up a bit and bringing moisture back to the exceptionally dry patches. This is one I'm definitely purchasing after loan day! 10/10

Balance Me Congested Skin Serum* // You can use this all over, or for targeted use on blemishes - it smells a bit weird because it's jam packed with natural goodness, but it doesn't dry out my skin which is something a lot of anti-blemish products tend to do. I haven't noticed a massive difference but my skin tends to need super-sonic powers when it comes to spots. 6/10

There you have it - my samples for this month, tried and tested. Check back next month for more tiny sachets filled with goodness.
