Creative Writing // September 2016

yo yo yo it's that time of month again here is another poem for your enjoyment - it's free verse, it's a first draft, it's a bit different.

I was not created
small enough to fit in
the palm of anybody's
hands. I was not made
to keep my mouth shut
to please the masses
who's eyes are blind. I
was not created with
empty bones and empty
promises. I was not
made in the image of
silence.

I was created with
strong arms and an
open mouth for
screaming. I was
made of enough
sparks to start forest
fires. I was created
with strength to make
waves like the
moon. I was made
in the image of
war.

  2. One day I'm going to have your poetry on the walls of my house and tell all my visitors about it
