Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask // Review

I don't know if you know, but I met CT herself a while back. She was just so genuinely lovely, down to earth and downright hilarious - plus she was generous enough to send us home with some goodies to try. I've been slowly but surely putting them all to the test, and I want to talk about what is, for me, the star of the show - her Goddess Skin Clay Mask.

We all tried some of this on the back of our hands when we met her, and I immediately noticed how less red my hand was when it had been wiped off. Curious, I vowed to put it on my face as soon as I got home - however, that didn't happen and it's taken me until recently to try it out properly. The mask has a delicate rose smell and, as someone who HATES that artificial rose scent, it isn't awful. It contains Spanish clay, sweet almond and rosehip oils, BioNymph Peptide Complex (whatever that is), frangipani flower extracts and some other essential oils. So, it's some good stuff, right?

Honestly, as someone who was called 'Pinky' in school due to having a permanent red face - I'm in love with this. I don't know how, but it just gets rid of redness. Just like that. It doesn't leave my face tight or dry, and it makes everything look a little less angry - my face seems softer, blurred almost. I like it. My skin is really sensitive, too, so I'm shocked that I've not reacted to it. I don't think it has much long-term benefit but if I'm feeling really rubbish about my skin, I like to throw this on for ten minutes and then I feel a bit happier - and happiness, my friends, is what's important right now.
