Spring nails // My picks

I love painting my nails; I'm pretty bad at it, but I love it anyway and my nail-varnish collection is HUGE. Now we're on our way into Spring, I wanted to share my most-worn nail colours for this time of year. Without further ado, then…

Essie are top of my list when it comes to nail varnishes - I find I only really need one coat and they have some stunning colours. This is Mojito Madness, and I think it's such a nice green. A lot of the time I find green looks really sickly or weird on my nails, but this one is a winner for me.

When the live-action Cinderella came out, Morgan Taylor brought out a whole range of nail colours. They sent a bunch of them to us for the last #NWmeet and that's how I came to fall in love with Watch your step, sister* which is a stunning pink. Not a bright, cerise pink but not a baby pink, and also not a barbie doll shade. It's just gorgeous in its own right.

In school I used to "paint" my nails with Tip-Ex which is gross, but I still ache for white nails sometimes. I love Rimmel nail-varnishes, and this one from the Rita Ora collection is fab - it's called White Hot Love, and you need a few coats but it is lovely!

Smith & Cult are a real luxury brand, and we got our paws on some before they came out over here - again, at #NWmeet last year. This is the shade Fauntleroy and it's the most gorgeous pinky-lilac. The bottle alone is gorgeous, but the polish inside is equally amazing.

My mum was getting rid of this Barbara Daly gel-finish nail varnish, which she'd never used, alongside a few other shades. This one, which has no name, is almost rose gold, and looks stunning on the nails. It dries really quick too which is a game-changer for someone like me.

Ted Baker are such a pretty brand, and I have this nail polish from them along with the matching lipgloss which you can see on my face (lips) here. Neither of them have names but the coral shade is gorgeous and so bright - a real happy shade, you know?

What nail varnish shades will you lot be wearing on your nails this season?
