LUSH Halloween & Christmas // Launch

I've been a fan of Lush for a few years now; I was late to the party because I was so worried that my sensitive skin wouldn't agree with the products but thank the bath bomb lords that I've been absolutely fine so far. I was lucky enough to go the launch of the Halloween and Christmas products at my local store, and it was such a treat.

We were greeted with name tags by the cheery staff, and thrown into a world of festive wonder: we made our own Butter Bear bath bomb, and had a shower-jelly-throwing competition, and watched demo after demo of all the new glittery and delicious-smelling bath products. I tell you, my senses were awakened.

Shock horror, I'm not a fan of Snow Fairy. If you want to stop reading my blog here and now, I completely understand - it's a travesty. But I fell in love with many a scent at the launch: Yog Nog (soap/bath bomb) which has spicy clove and shea butter, and smells like cinder toffee, was my favourite. Alongside that, the smell of the Magic of Christmas 'Fun' was to die for, as well as being one of those products you can get so much use out of in so many ways!

The lovely people at Lush sent us home with our very own Butter Bears, although mine has tragically lost it's head, as well as our choice of new showergel - I went for Lord Of Misrule, which is all herb-y and green and good for you. We'd also watched how the Lush cleansers are made, and got to take home some Buche De Noel which smells like Play Dough in the best possible way. I can't wait to give it all a try, so keep your eyes peeled...

It's a bit of a novelty, themed bath bombs, but one I definitely find myself buying into. They're good for a treat or to relax after a hectic week at work/school/uni/whatever - and of course, they're magic for Secret Santa or a stocking filler, should you be stuck for ideas (which I often am).

What's your favourite thing EVER from Lush?

  1. I have to admit I do love Snow Fairy. I'm a sucker for a sweet scent so I'll be treating myself to a big bottle of that and a couple of Candy Mountains this Christmas.

My boyfriend bought me a sparkly pumpkin last week though and I love it - even though it doesn't have my usual sweet scent, I can't get enough of it! I definitely want to buy another one before Halloween is over.
